Welcome to the Department of Mathematical Sciences Library UOK.
Following are lists of candidates who have cleared the MS. M.Phil. Ph.D Admission Test 2011.Department of Mathematical Sciences UOK
Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan, is organising the First National Conference on Mathematical Sciences, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Department of Mathematics.
The theme of the conference is
Bringing Life to Mathematics and Mathematics to Life.
This conference will provide an opportunity to Pakistani Mathematicians to present and discuss research problems in the field of Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics and Inter-disciplinary Mathematics. The major purpose of the conference is to bring all Pakistani Mathematicians and Researchers in Mathematics on one platform. Young students will get an opportunity to meet and interact with renowned Pakistani Mathematicians.
The first Session of the conference will be devoted to Popularize Mathematics. Speakers will deliver lectures dedicated to their role models.
Two sessions are named as Scientific Sessions, a good number of latest research works will be presented.
To achieve our goal set for the conference, and especially to project Societal Mathematics, fourth session will be on Math-Environment Session. Mathematical Art Competition, Mathematical Quiz Program, Math Literature, Math Movie and Jokes will bring life to Mathematics.

Participants should submit an abstract of one page or maximum 500 words, including topic, key words, e-mail address, address of institute, methodology and results, by March 10, 2010.
ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION
Only invited guests outside the city will be provided with on-campus accommodation in the University Guest House, upon prior request made latest by Feb 28, 2010.
Pick and drop facility will be available to all participants, upon prior information, from Jinnah International Airport Karachi to Karachi University Campus on 21 and 22 March 2010.
EXCURSION
A photo-session and walk in the beautiful scenic BOTANIC GARDEN of University of Karachi, after the 3rd session, and a CITY TOUR OF THE HEART OF PAKISTAN, after the 4th session, will prove the hospitality of Karachites, and will make the event a memorable one.
